1921-2022 The film genre of the city symphony is closely linked to the pace of technological change at the beginning of the last century. The founding of the university was associated with a sense of new beginnings, which should be remembered. Specific, curated film programs featuring international works from 101 years, including classics of the genre, discoveries and archive finds, were presented by a group of students at public places. At the same time, the exhibition also introduced Ella Bergmann-Michel (1895-1971), a pioneer of city films from Paderborn. A retrospective of her work was shown in the gallery in the Reithalle.
