Students from the Textiles Department of Paderborn University presented numerous works from more than a decade of the degree course “Fashion – Textiles – Design” in a fashion show on Wednesday, 1. June. Entitled “Fashionable Mosaics”, the show featured student creations and collections which gave an insight into the twelve-year history of the subject. The public were invited to view the presentation of the garments at 4 p.m. or 7 p.m. on the university’s Studiobühne stage. Admission was free and advance booking not required.

All works were created by (former) students, who also presented their creations in the form of a performance in the show. The audience was treated to a colourful mix of evening wear, casual styles, slow fashion and much more. The event was organised by Prof. Alexandra Kürtz, Professor for Practical Design (Gestaltung), and Barbara Jagoda-Maas, research associate in Practical Design for Textiles.
